· Deliveries within Pembrokeshire: Standard delivery is £15. We are unable to provide a day or time as it will depend on order volume and when a driver is in your area but will deliver within 5 working days of the order being completed.

Deliveries outside of Pembrokeshire: We ship nationwide using 3rd party companies, please continue to checkout and cost will be calculated after entering your postcode. For smaller, more manageable orders, for example up to 4 planters smaller than 60 Gallon or up to 2 planters 60 gallon in size we will ship using a courier. Please allow up to a week for delivery upon completion.
For orders made up of more than 4 planters smaller than 60 gallon or more than 2 planters 60 gallon in size we will ship a palletized delivery via haulier, a pallet truck will be on the vehicle to deliver onto drive etc.

Oak whisky barrel planters are available in a variety of sizes and make a perfect addition to home gardening. Cut in half from Genuine Oak Scotch Whisky barrels to create the perfect barrel planter for your plants, herbs or trees.
Please note that these barrels are up to 20 years old and will be weathered with marks from transport, possible surface cracks in the wood and weathering to accompany the barrel's character and whisky scent. They may also contain paint or markings from the distillery.
20 Gallon Planter Notes: They are both effectively the same barrel in terms of appearance and size. The rum barrel started off life as a whiskey barrel and subsequently was used again to store rum so the price reflects the fact that they've had an “extra use”. The Grade B and Grade C planters may contain a hole at the bottom as standard as they have come into us.
Please note when ordering 4 or more 20G/27.5G half planters or 2 or more 55G/60G half planters, these will be delivered on a pallet via haulier. This may require multiple people to help unload or somewhere safe for the order to be left; kerbside/on drive only. (The haulier will not be expected to position the order in a particular place ie around back of house or thru a passageway).
If you have any questions about this, please message us first before ordering. If we have to redeliver the pallet, a charge of £75 will be passed on to the customer. If you are only able to receive delivery on a specific weekday, please state in the order notes of the checkout.

Note regarding the 50 Litre Recoopered planters: These are remade from ex-Bourbon / Scottish Whisky casks & the insides of the barrels have been reshaved back to fresh oak. The outsides of the barrels have been partly sanded and new steel bands fitted to give a great look. Please note bands will rust if exposed to water for a long period of time so treating them is highly adviseable. the top and bottom bands slightly stick past the heads of the barrels.
