Solid Oak Door Linings and Door Stops - Custom Made to Any Size

• Kiln-dried/joinery grade solid oak door linings.
• Thicknesses are starting sizes and will finish at approx. 26mm for the lining and 15mm for the stopper.
• Depending on the width chosen and our stock availability, these boards may contain joins.
• Standard Door - 2 pieces @ 2100mm (7ft) and 1 piece @ 1m = 5200mm.
• Double Door - 3 pieces @ 2100mm (7ft) = 6300mm.
• Deliveries within Pembrokeshire: Free shipping! We are unable to provide a day or time as it will depend on order volume and when a driver is in your area but will deliver within 5 working days of the order being completed.
• Deliveries outside of Pembrokeshire: We ship nationwide using 3rd party companies, please continue to checkout and cost will be calculated after entering your postcode. For smaller, more manageable orders we will ship using a courier. Please allow up to a week for delivery upon completion. For larger orders we will ship a palletized delivery via haulier, in this case Multiple people would need to be on hand at time of delivery to handball off vehicle, if this is not possible, we will need to cancel the order. We will contact you prior to despatch to confirm this/discuss delivery timescale.

The finest quality joinery grade French oak boards for interior oak door linings. We use QB2, high-grade oak boards which will contain fewer knots, cracks or blemishes than character-grade oak. 

Our oak boards are kiln-dried to reduce moisture and limit the likelihood of any movement post-fitting.

Lining and stopper are supplied separately, to be fixed on-site. Oak stoppers are approximately 15mm thick are 40mm wide.

We are able to provide door linings at any custom width by the mm, which is perfect for character properties. The natural timber finish of the door linings gives a beautiful, traditional aesthetic, to set your home aside from cheaper or more plastic effects.

Our oak door linings are supplied Planed (PAR) so that they are square and flat. They can be sanded by the carpenter/joiner fitting them if required or left planed. Lengths are supplied slightly longer than ordered so that they can be cut to the required sizes when fitted.

As a natural timber product, boards may contain small knots, splits or grain variation which adds to their character.

Large solid boards can experience minor natural movement over time, particularly if exposed to moisture or temperature changes.

All engraving must be provided in black and white JPG/JPEG format.

Our engraving software cannot process colours or shading, so any coloured images will be converted to black and white.

Engraving Placement

By default, engraving will be positioned centrally at the top of the board.

If the board includes a waney (live) edge, engraving will be placed on the opposite side of the live edge for the best visual balance.

If you have specific placement requests, simply add instructions in the order notes at checkout.

To keep your solid oak chopping board looking its best and performing beautifully for years to come:

• Apply our food-safe board butter regularly to nourish and protect the timber.
• Hand wash only using warm water and mild soap. Wipe dry immediately after cleaning.
• Do not soak the board or leave it submerged in water.
• Never place in a dishwasher.
• Store upright between uses so air can circulate around the board, helping prevent warping.
• Avoid leaving the board in direct sunlight or near strong heat sources.

With proper care and occasional re-oiling, your Celtic Timber oak chopping board will continue to develop character and last for many years.

Delivery

All chopping boards are made to order in our Pembrokeshire workshop.

Delivery across the UK

We ship nationwide using trusted courier and pallet delivery services.

• Smaller boards are sent via courier
• Larger boards may be delivered via pallet

For pallet deliveries, assistance may be required to unload the board from the vehicle.

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout once your postcode is entered.

Returns

We offer a 30-day returns policy for all non-bespoke items.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

To qualify for a return:

• The item must be unused
• It must be returned in its original packaging
• The return must be requested within 30 days

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
